NBC News: Man Says A 1973 Pascagoula UFO "Alien Abduction Incident" Turn...

Until the day he died Charles Hickson never changed his story.  Calvin Parker had kept silent for 40 years and the incident affected him badly.

Misjudging Things

As I have posted elsewhere, it seems that I may have misjudged things regarding the AE-CE IIIK data base project.

99% of UK UFO groups seem to have no real investigation or research -particularly research. The responses I've gotten, two, are rather negative and in one response I was told to trawl the internet.  Things have gotten really bad -in the 1970s-1990s there was a lot of group cooperation.  Oh well.

I am also not trying to "Re-invent the wheel" -the idea is that individuals have their own data bases and use that data for particular avenues of research.   However, one may have reports the other does not and those reports may be very useful.

As an example: I investigated the Aylen Case in the 1970s/1980s and it was only because a fellow Ufologist knew I was studying Entity/CE IIIK cases that he sent me a copy of  A Crack In The Universe by Jean-Claude Bourret.  I read the Madame X report and realised that the entity described in  it was similar to the Aylen entities -if not for that cooperation I would not know of the French case and a possible similar one I am following up from the United States.

Mutual cooperation -I sent my friend a book he had not seen and it added to data he was gathering.

I do not intend to nor mean to start saying my data base is the data base and all others should be ignored. That is egotistical arrogance and I do not really have an ego and am certainly NOT arrogant. A Spanish data base.  A French Data base.  A German data base.  Information exchange. Research.  I am not interested in being hailed as a "Great innovator" or anything else.  I am a researcher and when I make findings I will publish them and give credit to absolutely anyone who helped.

That simple.

I just want to make that clear.

Three Basic Rules About Comments

(1)  No Porn

(2)  No general spam

(3)  If you DO NOT include your name or just use "unknown" and if you only JUST joined Blogger then your comment is marked as spam and deleted.  Not even considered.  Obviously "Unknown" means its not a serious comment so is not taken seriously.  And if you only JUST joined to make that comment you could be a spammer.

I Guess I Kind Of Wasted My Life!

I just found a photograph.  It was in a file and shows me, exhausted, around 1979/1980.  I'm in a caravan in Kent where the family were staying.

I had just had two years of exhaustive investigations (a big peak in UFO sightings from 1977-1979) having covered Devon and Cornwall, South Wales, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset and other counties (Bristol was "Avon" back then) for the British UFO Research Association (BUFORA). I had handed all 250 plus sighting report forms and investigation reports to BUFORA for copying and had discovered that they had "misplaced" then "lost" all of them.

Oh, and UFO International had been fully infiltrated by APEN (Google "APEN") and the British Flying Saucer Bureau in Bristol had gone, as we say in Bristol, "tits up".

So, sat in a caravan I was told "smile" -this is it.

And why did I think the AOP Bureau had to be a full time project and I should withdraw from a lot of things going on in Ufology?

Guess!

Alien Entities and the Abduction Phenomena

I have to say that I am beginning to believe more than ever that 97% of the abduction phenomena is not real in the sense of "aliens" abducting people for a hybrid or, what Dr Jacobs calls "hubrids".
A lot of UK investigators have web sites and response, if there is any, is "go look at the website".  Which is just the same as saying "I can't really be bothered" but to try to make the data base complete I will give anything a go...once.

The point of the data base is that it contains as much detail about a report as possible. Yes, even percipients' names.  An undertaking of strict confidentiality is always given -in writing if necessary. But some say "no" and that leaves me in an awkward position.

I have just trawled through one site where what might normally be termed "abductees" or even the "experiencers" all seem to be having the same experience and they seem to almost be full of incidents taken from paranormal and UFO TV series but are termed "Contactees"?  I have no idea why since these are supposed to be involuntary seizures from homes -abductions.

"I thought I heard footsteps" -obviously aliens (or creaky floorboards?).  "I woke up and had a bruise I could not remember having before" -aliens (or you never noticed the bruise before?). And the claims of abductions from childhood, bedroom visitants, from greys or "shadow figures" to semi transparent "reptileans", "Nordics", "hybrids" -and the "evidence" just does not back claims up.

Using a "Pseudonym to protect the witness" just does not gel when you then pose with the percipient for a photo!

And the claims of "psychic abilities" and mothers who are "mediums" and so on are seemingly straight from TV/movies.  If these cases are/were factual then we should now be working under the control of a new humanoid race whose powers exceed those claimed for Uri Geller in his hey-day.

I am not sure whether this is just investigator gullibility or inexperience but each case could just be made up by the investigator -how do we know the man/woman in the photo with them is not cousin John or cousin Jean?

And claims that now adult abductees are in fact "multi-dimensional star children" with psychic abilities smacks of trying to wring more money out of books or just make money.

Yes, in many cases I think that some of those who are experiencers -I use that term since I do not believe aliens nor inter-dimensionals are abducting them- do need support and help because what is happening is not nice and they need to learn how to deal with it (for instance, read Ann Druffel's How To Defend Yourself Against Alien Abduction).  However, I think this is distracting investigators and researchers from any real evidence of possible alien activity.

When someone says "I saw the image on Whitley Streiber's book and said 'that's what I saw!'" I bite my tongue and do not say what I think of Streiber's account.  Honestly, I think it is made up -but very lucrative.

In fact, if I went by all the personal websites of abductees and UFO groups I really would need to ask myself if I was really human!

Deadline after deadline for disasterous events have come and gone and I think Ufology has spent too much time pandering to the "Grey abduction phenomena" -even if it gets them book deals or TV air time all that does is create more abductees.  The Hills -I'll believe.  Streiber -no.

We need to get back to the basic data of pre-1985 and see what cases since that time correlate with reports now.

And I think the Reptileans ought to be left where they started -with Gorn in the Star Trek episode "Arena"

Omar Fowler discusses Mansfield Triangle UFO Sighting

Interesting find on You Tube.  Omar Fowler discusses Mansfield Triangle UFO Sighting

UK UFO Groups and The AE and CE IIIK Project

I have to say I am a little disappointed with UK UFO groups.  The AE and CE IIIK Project has received cooperation from France and Spain (just waiting on the Germans) but the UK -nothing.

What I did was go online and check UFO groups listed in the United Kingdom.  There were lots of them that were set up around 1995 at the height of the UFO TV craze.  99% described themselves as "dedicated to a lifelong search for the truth"  some added "We will not stop until the UFO mystery is solved.  Most of the groups and people who founded them after "getting into UFOs around 1995/1996" (which is very telling) are now no longer active.

No Albert K. Bender or Men In Black.  Interest just fizzled out.  I've seen this over-and-over again in the past few decades.  Sadly, many UFO witnesses or even abductees are then left hanging.  What a mess.

Anyway, I've sent out more emails because sending letters out (at 65p a time!) is bloody expensive when twenty letters have received no replies.  Let's see how it goes.

And yesterday evening and today, up until 1600 hrs (I have to eat) I have been up-dating the UK entries for the 1980s.  Postage and ink cartridges -could it get any more expensive?  But for today that is it.  I'm taking a day off as I await a delivery of...more ink cartridges!

Any serious investigators/researchers -UK or in other countries- want to get involved then please read this:
