The "Fire in the Sky" controversy continues

These are some rough notes after listening (a painful task in itself) to this podcast.

To be honest this has gotten beyond embarassing now. Gordon on for a third show and basically running it and demanding presenters come out and give their views and Lukes and co act like little lapdogs.

People might need reminding that Gordon declared the interview on the last show was his last on the subject. End. Finito. Done with ufologists. Yet here he is again presenting his 'evidence' which is nothing new and as I pointed out before; photographs he took of the scene and area 45 years after the event do not prove anything. That is nonsensical.

Do not get me wrong if there was EVIDENCE that proved the whole Walton case was a hoax I would be broadcasting it buy everything being said by Gordon is old hat and I dealt with in UFO Contact? and proved to be debunking or twists of the truth and this continual praising of Ground Saucer Watch as an elite scientific investigation organisation beyond questioning is so false. Look at Ground Saucer Watch and its bitter and nasty battle with Project Saucer International. Look at how they got Walton to meet them claiming they had a doctor ready to examine him but that turned out to be deceptive.

Lukes started her show with the intention of "getting at the truth" and knocking down the "UFO Cult leaders" and all her show has produced is a lot of bitching and back-stabbing rather than concentrate onfamous or not so famous cases and I stuck with it despite the constant loss of sound and other tech problems on Lukes' part.

She now appears to be only interested in attacking cases or people that she knows will annoy Ufologists and her constant bemoaning the "nasty" and "negative comments" has reached the point where I fall asleep. We know have Lukes and her friends mumbling on about "established ufology" and "Well it's a someone believing someone else they consider a friend" while claiming that they know the Walton case inside out and that these non-revellations are shocking -its UFO history being made. I have to question this alleged 'knowledge' of the Walton case on their part because Gordon is spouting nonsense on the now Gordon Podcast.  Are these people afraid to challenge him? "You have seen the emails I sent. You have seen them -correct?" is followed by "Yes. We have seen them" rather than "We have seen them but they do not present any solid evidence"

I have received many -many- attacks over the years for being a debunker. I am NOT a debunker but a sceptical investigator and I want to see the proof. If there is nothing 100% solid then I have to go by what the witness/percipient has stated and also secondary evidence such as other reports in the area at the time -.unusually there is no mention of Staff Sgt Moody and his abduction around the same time as Walton's and his account, including sketch of the entity, matches -but Lukes has her own agenda as does Gordon.

The last three shows have been the equivalent of letting arch debunker (also involved in lying, bribery and anythingh else to dismiss a case) Philip J. Klass have free reign. I ought to point out that I am not a Ufologist and have proven many reports/cases to be false or "made up out of something that was just misidentified".  If a report passes the checks then all I can list it as is "Unknown" and I have done so in my books and not just cases from the United States. It is a pity that Lukes appears to have thrown out the ideas and methods of her declared hero Ann B Druffel and opted to allow debunking to be openly supported and unchallenged and when it is well, that's just those nasty ufologists not willing to face the truth.

Lukes is like many other Ufologists who have held research back and soiled the reputation of investigators and  researchers. As I wrote before, I want to see Lukes confront Walton at an event on video and call him a liar and fraud to his face. If she cannot do that then what is the point.

Having received a copy of UFO Contact? this is what the J. Allen Hynek Centre for UFO Studies had to say about it:

"...an impressive body of work. I appreciate your lively writing, use of original sources as much as possible, and forceful opinions about the cases, investigators, etc. And I concur with your evaluations of cases that have been pushed aside, such as Kelly, or Pascagoula."

Other UFO researchers who have read the book are of similar opinions. So are you going to just carry on reading the same old same old half truths and lies or try to find out what is REALLY going on?

Since 1947 it has been claimed that UFOs/flying saucers are evidence of aliens visiting the Earth.  Since the 1950s claims of encounters with landed craft and alien beings were talked about but not taken seriously.

In the 1960s the subject of UFO abduction was a "slow-burner" until the whole "Grey" abduction phenomenon and claims made by researchers such as Budd Hopkins, Prof. John Mack and Dr David Jacobs and Whitley Streiber.

But is there evidence to back up any of the claims -and what about those encountering Alien Entities but who were not abducted?

Are these people all hoaxers, psychotic or suffering from some other mental illness as some claim?

Are those people who were exposed by Ufologists against their wishes, people who wanted to report what happened and then just get back to their everyday lives -thrust into the media glare against their will?

And if US authorities were so interested that in one case at least they broke into the home of two abductees and this was later proven -why?

Why did a hard core of these people never want publicity or to make money from what happened to them?

Above all, why did a major UFO landing incident take place on a US Inbterstate road in front of a large number of observers (all willing to talk to investigators) never get investigated? If it were not for a radio presenter interviewing and taking notes we would know nothing of the case -it would be labelled "insubstantial".

James and Coral Lorensen -the Scopolamine Kids; using a very notorious "truth drug" on alleged UFO witnesses and selling stories to newspapers.  An investigator (a veteran) showing a witness images of "aliens" encountered in other cases before any memories were retrieved.  Worst of all, the constant "pissing competition" and breaches of trust between UFO investigators.

2017 is the time to assess the past evidence and look at the faults within Ufology.

Not everyone is going to be happy -debunkers or ufologists.

Thomas Ferrario and the Marley Woods Case Update

My comment left afterthe video

Interesting listen. However I am now going to be a pain in the ass. There are some photos of lights -interesting but any sceptic is going to say "They could be fake". Plenty of accounts of "this" or "that" happening but it seems that after all of this time there is no hard evidence -if I am wrong PLEASE point me in the right direction.

A horse 'exploded' but remains as well as the barn were destroyed.

No evidence then.

People suffered microwave overdoses. Interesting but says who -are there medical reports confirming any of this because if there are that would take this whole thing up a few notches.

The hair; as someone who has submitted hair samples before I know that there are many reasons WHY they fail to get identified -is the test report available? Standard would be to get 2 labs to check independently.

Has the pawprint cast been looked at by naturalists and zoologists for an opinion?

The critter photo is ...a blob and gives no evidence or data.

I am a sceptic NOT a debunker but I see claim after claim yet we get no evidence despite Phillips promising such more than ten years ago -see the various interviews and MUFON talks on You Tube.

I WANT to see the evidence but so far Marley falls in the same category as Skinwalker for me: a lot of talk, a few vague images but no solid evidence presented.

The Galileo Project public announcement

Avi Loeb and the New Galileo Project Seeking Out Extraterrestrial Intell...

A Harvard-led team is launching a new project to search for physical evidence of aliens and their technology

When the first interstellar object ever observed, 'Oumuamua, careened past Earth in 2017, it seemed to be accelerating. That's not what most space rocks do - which is in part why Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb says 'Oumuamua was an alien spaceship.

Although most researchers agree that the object was a space rock - either a comet or piece of a tiny planet - Loeb thinks there are countless other objects like 'Oumuamua whizzing by our planet, some of which could come from aliens, too. So he launched a program to find them.

On Monday, Loeb announced an initiative called the Galileo Project - after the Italian astronomer - that will search for physical evidence of alien technologies and civilizations.

"It's a fishing expedition, let's just go out and catch whatever fish we find," Loeb said in a press conference. "And that includes objects close to Earth, hovering within our atmosphere, or objects that came from outside the solar system that look weird."

The $1.75 million project, backed by at least four philanthropists, aims to use a network of Earth-based telescopes to look for interstellar objects that could be extraterrestrial in nature. The group will also hunt for potential alien ships in Earth's orbit, as well as unidentified flying craft in our atmosphere.

By the time astronomers became aware of 'Oumuamua's existence, it was already zipping away at 196,000 mph. Several telescopes on the ground and one in space took limited observations, but astronomers had just a few weeks to study the strange, skyscraper-sized object before it got too far away.

That left many questions about what the object was and where it came from. In a book Loeb published in January, "Extraterrestrial: The First Sign of Intelligent Life Beyond Earth," he describes 'Oumuamua as a defunct piece of alien technology.

"The object has anomalies that merit some attention - things that do not line up in the ways we expected," Loeb told Insider ahead of the book's publication, adding, "when something doesn't line up, you should say it."

Two years after 'Oumuamua's discovery, astronomers spotted a second interstellar object: a comet called 2I/Borisov. With the Galileo Project, Loeb and a team of 14 other researchers hope to spot future interstellar objects early as they approach Earth. To do this, they plan to use the Pan-STARRS telescope in Hawaii and an 8-meter-wide telescope currently under construction at the Vera C. Rubin Observatory in Chile.

Early detection could enable scientists to send probes to these objects, according to Frank Laukien, a visiting scholar at Harvard and a co-founder of the Galileo Project.

"We should, next time, have much better data much earlier, and maybe land on them or get very, very close to them," Laukien said in the press conference.

Searching for signs of extraterrestrial technology

Loeb describes the new project as complementary to the SETI Institute, which searches for extraterrestrial life using radio telescopes. But the Galileo Project, he said, will search for physical evidence of alien civilizations, rather than radio signals. That includes potential alien satellites that could be orbiting Earth or fragments of extraterrestrial craft. (One of Loeb's hypotheses is that 'Oumuamua is a piece of lightsail or antenna that broke off a larger ship.)

Loeb also plans to examine unidentified aerial phenomena, or UAPs, within Earth's atmosphere.

Last month, US intelligence officials released a report describing 144 incidents since 2004 in which military personnel encountered UAPs. One of those incidents turned out to involve a deflating balloon, but the rest remain unexplained, the report concluded.

"It's an unusual admission by the government, saying there are objects in our sky we don't fully understand," Loeb said.

According to the Galileo Project's website, these UAPs could be artifacts of an extinct alien civilizations or active extraterrestrial equipment. So the group hopes to image future UAPs in higher resolution by creating a network of 1-meter telescopes around the world.

Such telescopes, which cost about $500,000 each, can spot details just 1 millimeter in size on objects the size of a person a mile away.

"That could help us distinguish a label saying 'thing made in country X,' from a label saying, 'made by exoplanet Y,'" Loeb said.

He added that the Galileo team plans to make its data public to encourage other scientists to engage in the search, too.

"Finding others on cosmic streets will help us mature - help us realize were not the sharpest cookies in the jar, and intelligent life that is way beyond us may exist out there," Loeb said.

Heads Up On The Books -Price Increase Coming

All of my books are published POD -Print on Demand. This means if you order a book it is printed in your country and charged in your currency and postal rates -NOTHING international to it.

I have always kept the UFO and mystery (cryptozoology, paranormal etc) books to the bare minimum price to encourage readers and to me they have been "give away" books when it comes to the United States as I pay tax on each book sold there meaning no matter the cost of the book I receive around $1.00 which is unworkable for a business.

The POD I use has announced that costs go up from 2nd August which would not affect current books, however, it means I would end up being hit by the increased cost when it comes to sales money.

For this reason, from 10th August 2021 all of the UFO and "World Mystery" books will increase in price to be more commercial and, hopefully, make me some money from them. If you want any of the books or magazines (AOP Journal etc) at the current prices now is the time to get them before the increase.

The Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI) says that we may have to wait many thousands of years before any signals sent gets a response if they are detected.

The real SETI may already have established the there is alien life –and it has been visiting Earth for at least 70 years.

Once the mass of reports of Close Encounters of the Third Kind and entity encounters are sifted there remains a strong core of cases that defy logical explanation and suggest that these encounters have resulted in physiological effects and post traumatic stress.

Terry Hooper-Scharf of the CE3K/AE Project has led research into these reports for over 40 years and in this work takes a look at rare or obscure reports as well as cataloguing encounters from Germany and Portugal and focuses in on correlations in the reports and how the Dandenong (Kelly Cahill) encounter could be the best case ever reported.

Have the serious investigators and researchers looking into UFOs been unearthing better evidence of extra terrestrial life and contact with humans than established SETI ?

I was told that it was probably a good idea not to reveal all of the contents of the new book. Fair enough. It is 324 pages with lots of photographs.  If you have read one of my previous books then I will point out that this new look at the chupacabra is expanded on.  I have managed to draw some conclusions on certain previously unidentified beasts.

I am guessing that the conclusions in the chapter on the Shunka Warak'in and the famous stuffed and mounted specimen are going to really upset some cryptozoologists.

In High Strangeness and UFO Contact? I looked at the faults in Ufology and how the subject needed drastic overhauling and I do the same here regarding mystery animal research which seems to be full of charlatans and liars out to make money rather than look for the truth. I try to give anyone approaching the subject matter some advice and guidelines but 'cryptozoology' and 'cryptozoologist' are two words they ought not to use.

Strange & Mysterious Beasts is the smaller format book while Mysterious & Strange Beasts is the standard larger A4 format.

IGNORE the "only ships from North America" as that is just a site message error

I need to point out that, much though I really do want to avoid this, US taxes are not leaving me much in the way of profit from sales.  I really do not want to increase book prices since I think that at the moment they are fair (considering what a purchaser gets and the amount of my work that gets plagiarized).  I am told that it has to be an option, however, I have until 1st February, 2018 to decide.

Anyway, enough publisher waffle, here are some of the contents:

1973 –a driver observes a landed UFO and entities and opens fire with his gun when he felt threatened. A High Strangeness account.
Neither of these cases was investigated despite requests for local investigators to do so. Even in 2020 the idea of opening up either as a cold case was flatly Rejected by America’s ‘top UFO investigation’ group.
Reports now probably lost to history.
1973 –a year in which UFO reports from African-Americans were frowned upon and ignored. Nothing has changed.
