I was going to give this a miss but the guest was flat out telling it like it is. Unlike Lukes' usual guests who fawn and brown nose when she stated as FACT that Ufology was as bad as racist lynch mobs "hanging a black man with a rope from a tree" the shock on his face!!!! He tried to set her straight because that is the most up your own ass statement ever.
No Ufologists have lynched black people or any other people and then she veered off onto the Jewish holocaust!!
The guest politely, and in a very friendly way, tried to explain to Lukes that she needed to step away from the whole Skinwalker Ranch business for her own good and her body language was not concealing that she was angry. We KNOW Skinwalker Ranch is fake. Its a TV show now but it was pointed out that you can only present the facts and truth to people and if their mindset was believing the crap -that's all you could do.
At this point Lukes proved that she was one of those people. Obsessed with the whole Ranch and those involved and she was not even going to consider leaving the subject alone. SHE was right. SHE was going to expose the fraud and I could see a stalker order against her popping up in future. You can only do so much and having presented the truth ...move on.
Very telling was the typical Lukes statement of fact. She stated something as fact so her guess asked a standard ""what are the details?" at which her response was its online. Then the number of people affected by what was going on at that Ranch so the question was "How many by your estimate were affected that you spoke to?" Fumbled response and this happened again and again.
People are constantly criticised for not stating source or reference or exact checkable facts and yet every week we see this from Lu8kes and her co-presenter. Subjects are dismissed because they have (in all their very limited experience) never studied them so its all "UFO crap", right?
Well, so far I am unimpressed by Lukes and her revolutionary new direction for Ufology as so far it seems to be constantly harping on about THAT ranch and so it is another Ufological waste of time. Surprise.
An honest straight forward guest who asks questions with no malice what-so-ever has managed to expose Lukes' glass house as having a lot of cracks in it.
As an aside I have been watching Steven Cambian who has put forward a lot of interesting facts though I found even in the United States unless you are into fringe beliefs most of those he targets are unknown. Bob Lazar was exposed as a hoaxer a long time ago.
The "shock Jock" approach can go on for 3 hours or more. During that 3 hours period Cambian will repeat the same insults and facts -one show I turned off after the final (15th) repeat of Bob Lazar being a felon who ran a "whore house" and *grifter UFO money whores". If he ever played the clip he was supposed to I have no idea.
Truthseekers would be a good show if it just presented facts without constant screaming and repeating ad nauseum.
It seems Ufology is still divided and people who could create a straight road to follow are just not interested. In Lukes case it appears to be "I am an activist and a victim" and you had better accept that because ....well, because she is Erica Lukes.
