I've not been "silenced" by Them!

It is sad to say it but I think the days of chasing after physical evidence of UFOs a well as all types of strange and (sometimes) sinister things are over.

What we seem to like to call "the current situation" (Covid19) has resulted in lockdowns, travel limitations and so much more. What I first started doing in...1973 (!) is now confined to a desk and rapidly breaking down PC.  As I am in the "High Risk" category and also shielding a family member my mind and body may well be willing (in fact they are driving me crazy) but the outside world is not.

Back in the 1980s when there was a planned expedition to South America I was told, officially, that I had to cancel it. Although there was nothing "secret" involved it seems that people in upper echelons in Argentina had decided that because I was meeting and liaising with serving and ex military peoploe on UFOs...well, I was a "person to detain and question" should I enter the country. To show how ridiculous things were I was also stopped from visiting Russia (at the time the USSR) for exactly the same reasons.

I had thought that with thing calming down (relatively) now might be a good time to get out there and dig around. I even have trail cams for the non native cat/wildlife work. No go.

Normally, I might respond to blog visitors questions or sighting reports, however, thousands read the blog but it seems that no one can be bothered.

I have publiushed four issues of the AOP Journal this year and I am thinking about a couple of specials on other subjects based on 40+ years of work and eight (8) books. But then I have to ask myself whether weeks of work will result in magazines that actually sell.  I would ask if there was any interest but as 100 out of 100 questions asked on this blog have received no responses....

I have run out of garden  work and constantly running around trying to find house chores and repairs is driving others to annoyance. The alternative is to just sit back and do bugger all but that leads to depression and that isn't good.

I'm a field naturalist and investigator now finding both cannot be carried out.

Well, either my PC packs up (and no funds =no new PC ) or I try to concentrate on other things. No idea really. I know no one really gives a damn but it's good putting this out there -and at least you'll know I've not been "silenced" by Them!
