UK Foxes Need YOUR Help.
Please, if you can, take a look at the National Fox Welfare Society page. They treat injured and sick foxes in the UK and at a time when British wildlife is under greater threat -because Humans simply never learn- they and other wildlife charities need support.
There is no government funding. Just donations from animal lovers.
Please check them out and if you can help in any way do. The foxes cannot say "Thank you" but if they could they would.

The Red Paper: Canids
Paperback,

Photographs, illustrations and maps
By the 1700s the British fox was on the verge of extinction and about to follow the bear and wolf having been hunted for sport for centuries. The answer was to import thousands of foxes per year for sport. But foxes kept dying out so jackals were tried. Some were caught, some escaped. Even wolves and coyote were released for hunting and "country folk" were very far from "happy" -some even threatening local hunts -one intending to release a wolf for a hunt- with legal and other consequences. The summation of over 40 years research by the noted naturalist and former UK police forces exotic wildlife consultant reveals the damnable lie of "pest control" hunting but also reveals the cruelty the animals were subject to and how private menageries as well as travelling shows. Private menageries, or single exotic "pets" as well as travelling shows helped provide the British and Irish countryside with some incredible events such as the 1905 "vampiric" sheep killer of Badminton, the mystery hounds of Cavan and Coyotes of Epping Forest.
The Girt Dog of Ennerdale is also dealt with in detail -was it a tiger? A Tasmania Thylacine? This book gives the exact facts and details for the first time. Up-dated 2013 edition includes a section on sarcoptic mange in foxes and treatment plus a list of wildlife sanctuaries and rescue centres in the UK.

Paperback,
53 Pages
Dimensions (centimetres) 20.98 wide x 29.69 tall (A4)
fully illustrated and referenced
£10.00http://www.lulu.com/shop/terry-hooper-scharf/the-truth-about-spring-heeled-jack/paperback/product-21259526.html
The terror and mystery created by “Jack The Ripper” has been the subject of countless books, magazine articles as well as movies and TV documentaries. Ask anyone if they have ever heard of Jack The Ripper and it is doubtful anyone would respond with a “no idea.”
By that same token, ask people who “Spring-heeled Jack” was and you would be lucky to find anyone who had ever heard of him.
Spring-heeled Jack was the subject (loosely) of a film The Curse of the Wraydons (1946) and Dominic Keating also appeared as Spring Heeled Jack in the 2010 film Sherlock Holmes by The Asylum film company. The character has also featured in both American and British comic books and a number of books, for both children and adults.
But the fact that the Springald held the country –not just London– in a grip of terror much longer that the Ripper did is all but forgotten except for some half-truths and fanciful theories.
Now be prepared to read the full story of Spring Heeled Jack

Time For Fans and Pod-casters To Start Making Up Excuses For Their 'Heroes'
Let me make it clear: I do NOT have a "negative view" of the "paranormal field" when it comes to phenomena. I am negative toward around 95% of those claiming to be 'investigators' and 'researchers' who are nothing more than con-men out to become a celebrity, get the book deals and -more importantly than the phenomena they investigate- get the money. Make the money and continue to con people because when it comes to ghosts and the paranormal the field has always attracted the crooks -do your research and go back to Houdini's work in trying to expose frauds.
I cannot think of one TV paranormal show that has any credibility. Seriously. You get the fans on your side -yes, "fans" because this is entertainment and NOT reality- and from there you get the TV ratings and the ego boost and then one cast member after another leaves.
The fraud behind the series is exposed and -guess what? The fans don't believe it. Why? "Because dark, negative entities" may have been influencing the show leavers (who swear on their lives that they will never go back to a demonic locations because of how it affected them and their families...until they get a new show and go back there). You get "them" (the fans) to a point where you know they will jump off a bridge if you tell them too and you know the bank account will stay full.
You might even get to the point there you get to spout your own ('very important' of course) theory -make it almost religious because, you know, you've been 'possessed', you've fought a fictional character called "Satan", beaten back demons -all on a weekly basis while finding that every single house in the United States is a portal to hell. Fake demonic possession is always good as are occasional not so great actors who introduce you to things like a demonic phenomena of "world wide proportions" that no one has heard before.
"There is one born every minute"
And when these TV legends in their own bank balance get caught out what then? All the fans understand it is the "establishment" or dark paranormal forces trying to hide the truth. And the very many radio and other pod-casts that feed off of all this because kudos rubs off (like a fake sun tan): they start to ask questions. Well, they "start" but then they realise that "tear down the stars you tear down your own show" which if you know your entertainment industry you'll know about.
Suddenly these people start to offer, or try to offer excuses. "Maybe" this or "Maybe" that or "We don't really know -he's come up against some dark stuff in the show". Then the 'stars', the bigger con-men, of each show will criticise and accuse one another of fakery, fraud...yeah, it's entertaining to see the old con-man versus con-man fighting to see who has the biggest bank account. The TV studios don't care because it's all free publicity and the advertisers are just cash-cows anyway (you think they watch the shows? They just get fed the "We have ----- viewers" that's it).
Like fake 'monster shows' -Alaskan Monsters, Mountain Monsters -you know the list. No pretence at reality and, guess what? Despite the worst fakery possible the TV fans believe it all. How many series has the entertainment show Finding Bigfoot had? 11 or 12? If the TV company was that interested they would have spent the money and gotten the evidence by now. I do not doubt that those involved are genuine -I believe they are- but come on. Watch Series 1 Episode 1 and you've seen every episode ever made, with location swaps and end of series "let's meet the team" episodes. If you don't know the team after ten years see a doctor.
Do not even get me started on the UFO fraud across TV and the internet. Hey, Trump is President -NOW we'll get full disclosure! The fake UFO/alien pundits have said full UFO disclosure is "next year" since 1999. Luckily I never held my breath.
It is all entertainment. There are real investigators of Sasquatch, the paranormal and so on out there. No TV money or crews. No big fan club -"fans" do not even come in to it. You start building up fans -jump ship!
The only words you need to know are "TV"/"Money making" and "fraud".
Until someone decides they really want to show the truth, that is all you'll get.

Zak Bagans, Nick Groff and more BS. We REALLY Need Serious Programmes About The Strange & Weird
It cannot just be me that smells it? This....strong smell of bovine excrement? Ghost Adventures is controlled by Zak Bagans who is...a control freak. Just watch the programme. It was quite clear that Bagans wanted all the control and all of the attention as he personally took on the non-existent Satan with the incorrect Number of the Best -"666" is incorrect. Go look it up.
Groff was an unwanted feature. Let's face it -he could NOT fake possession and all the other crap like Bagans who is probably a little attention deficit disordery.
Watching Series 13 of GA while I work is a laugh. More fake machinery. More fake 'attacks'. More fake witnesses who "just happened to be passing" and how many of the witnesses involved are paid actors I do not know nor do I care.
Ghost Adventures is faked like every other paranormal show. Yes, they call themselves "shows" not documentary programmes.
Bagans challenges Groff's 'integrity'????
Katrina Weidman is as bad an actress as Groff and the show beginning is obviously trying to give it the slick appearance of TV series Supernatural (which is about as real as GA or Paranormal Lockdown!)
Bagans stabbed Groff in the back and the TV channel supported "the star"? Welcome to TV and movies, people.
"We saw a shadow" -WOW! I saw one earlier when the sun came out and I couldn't believe it. A shadow. You hear what I'm saying (or rather "You read what I'm typing")? A real shadow.
You know those childrens playing balls that move on these shows because "a ghost did it!!!"? You can buy those as a novelty. What world are you living in to believe that but not check it out?
Orbs -insects, dust, rain-drops, snow-flakes, cob-webs and totally explained -like "Rods" or "Rod creatures" -all only started appearing when much more sensitive and sophisticated digital cameras came in. Bull-shit for con merchants. Bunko boys.
So how is all this fakery, back-stabbing and sleaze-ball activity explained by the 'fans'? Demons. Yes, demons possessing or influencing these heroes of the manure heap. Do your research. Originally in the Bible NO "Fallen Angel" so no Hell, no demons -all later inventions.
Andy Hamilton did research and made a documentary....
So, why no real programmes on the paranormal? Because they would be boring. Hours and days of filming to get....nothing or perhaps a knock...somewhere. Not sexy. Not going to hook the TV land viewers who want the fakery fed to them.
A lot of serious paranormal investigators have quit over the years because these shows have made a mockery of the real work.
What we want -need- is a programme, factual. No special effects or sound tracks. Showing the gritty truth. I don't think that is sexy enough for TV.

Which Five Cases Seem To Be The Most GENUINE?
The challenge put to me was simple. See what 5 cases of "strange phenomena" (that includes Sasquatch, sea creatures, etc) readers think are the most genuine. It'll show continued interest amongst the thousands who visit the blog and give some ideas for future posts.
Now, I went through and counted how many times I have asked blog readers for even a basic "Like" or "Yes" comment let alone a string of words. Thirty (30). Responses? ZERO.
But here I am having to prove a point to someone again. However, if you want to comment please do and I'll check back Friday.
