Was it Really A Werewolf? The Arch Sceptic Bites Back!

Okay, this is how it goes.  I saw this reported on the French Cryptozoologie site, which may have been the one I was banned on for giving facts. Can’t remember but I explained what I thought just by looking at the photo presented and the information given on the radio website.

I note several sites came to the same conclusions using my explanation word-for-word. However, they then decided that it might be genuine or could be a fake or “something else”.

“National Cryptid Society”

“(January 30, 2017) Early this morning, the National Cryptid Society Facebook Page posted an article from WTMJ located in Milwaukee Wisconsin dated January 29, 2018.  The Article was entitled “Great Scott: Wolf Walking like a Human?” and displayed the following image:

“Image from WTMJ credited to Danny Morgan, screenshot from Facebook

“The article stated that a sister station had received an email with the above photo.  An exerpt (sic)from the now deleted article follows:

“A wolf that “ran across the street almost like a man.”

“That’s what Danny Morgan said was the “craziest thing I’ve ever seen” in an e-mail to WTMJ sister station TODAY’S TMJ4.

“Morgan shared that photo which he says was taken on Townline Road in Elkhorn.

“He said he “saw a wolf come cross a corn field and it got up upon its hind legs.”

“Later on in the day the link to the article was removed, however the image remained.
So, there followed comments and an analysis of the photo that was basically the photo and comments that it could be real or a fake.”

Whether the radio station removed the item after I contacted it or because they realised the truth I have no idea. All the talk of the up-coming “Super Moon” and then the Wisconsin Dog-man made all obviously a joke or hoax.

Now, if you have read Strange & Mysterious Beasts, which you haven’t, then you would have read my take on the facts on the Chicago flying humanoids cases. Lon Strickler was involved in that and he pops up here. Here is what the “National Cryptid Society” added as an important up-date:

UPDATE 2/01/2018     Lon Strickler of Phantoms and Monsters is an author and paranormal investigator known for his investigation and coverage of the recent “Chicago Phantom” sightings.

Lon contacted the witness who photographed the animal.  Lon’s statement emailed to us is below:

“…an investigator is going on-site this weekend. I talked to the witness (Danny Morgan). From what I can tell, he had just dropped his friend off at his home (I’m keeping the actual location under wraps at the moments) He noticed the wolf in the cornfield (on 4 legs) walking towards the road. His camera was handy, because he had never seen a wolf in the wild. He slowed…and when the wolf approached the road it stood up on 2 legs and walked quickly across the road. He said it walked just like any human would…didn’t stumble or look awkward. The wolf was also swinging its front legs, like a human walking. Honestly, I believe the guy….Lon”

I am sending Lon a photograph of a dish sponge covered by a face flannel –it is a genuine “globster” and no doubt I will get his backing 100%.

Canids, domestic dogs, can live quite well using just two back legs. However, they are pets and therefore fed by a human.

Wolves need to hunt for food and nothing is going to stand around waiting for a two-legged wolf to walk up and certainly not stand there as it tries to tear it up –which would also be somewhat difficult.

But LOOK at the photo. It could not be more faked -there are the deformed front legs -one looks more skeletal! Look just above the hind legs and notice how it looks like the top half has been wedged down onto those legs. Then look at the top -chest and shoulders.

This is a fake made up of parts -the photo is poor but it cannot hide the fact it is faked. And all the talk of "Super moon" and Werewolves -quite clearly a hoax or simple joke.

Any yet we have the “National Cryptid Society” stating it is a fake/genuine/something and an ‘expert’ (I write nothing more on that!) and the big time author and paranormal investigator seemingly stating outright that he believes this to be genuine.

Ask again why Science will not accept cryptozoology as a genuine area of research and then read this tripe report and findings again.
