Living Cavemen in Canada: Neanderthals in First Nations Tradition -Some Comments

One thing that needs to be noted is that the "primitives" and their actions basically mirrored those of the indigenous peoples.

Cree, Sioux, Iroquois or whatever tribe they were constantly raiding and at war with each other. They scalped, tortured, mutilated those they captured or killed and women and children were enslaved or killed.

Cannibalism was also practiced by some.

Therefore the accounts could be of other tribes because very little in those accounts suggests Neanderthal or unknown primitive men. In fact the stories of how indigenous warriors killed these primitives is atypical of what the primitives were said to do.

A good You Tube channel to visit for info on all of this is History At The OK Corral https://www.youtube.com/@historyattheokcorral/videos
